Miss Corrine’s School of Dance is a newly established dance school located in beautiful Nelson, BC.

Corrine Bundschuh is a professionally trained Cecchetti ballet teacher. Corrine trained under the renowned Miss Catherine Buffie, teacher trainer for the National Ballet of Canada in Toronto, while studying at Mission Dance. Mission Dance, founded by Tanya Bakala, has become one of Kelowna’s dance schools of excellence, bringing in instructors from around the world. Corrine was fortunate to attend when Miss Buffie became an instructor at Mission Dance and offered an intensive teacher training course. Canada’s National Ballet School has been successfully training teachers, ballet masters and artistic directors for over four decades and is the forefront in dance education.

Corrine attended teacher training classes for three and a half years while maintaining a teaching schedule and attending classes in ballet, Flamenco and modern styles at Mission Dance in Kelowna BC. As a part of the Mission Dance Company, Corrine was fortunate to perform in premier pieces around the province.

A move to Vancouver opened up the opportunity of studying with Karen Flamenco, an amazing studio with a passionate artistic director. Karen has become world renowned in her performances and choreographies. It is a treat to see her at the Kino Cafe in Vancouver, and don’t miss a performance at the theatre!

After taking a break from dance to pursue a successful career in events management producing Shambhala Music Festival, Corrine is returning to Nelson and to the passion that led her to events management. Miss Corrine’s School of Dance focuses on ballet classes, but offers conditioning classes and Flamenco!
